![]() In our highlight for this month, we shed light on this educational struggle, by drawing upon archival materials from the Palestinian Museum Digital Archive (PMDA) that include letters exchanged between prisoners and their families and other documents showcasing their cultural and educational journey in prison. This type of resistance reached its peak in 1992 when prisoners succeeded in enabling collective learning the process of education thus shifted from an individual endeavour to a collective one. Hunger strikes have been one of the most significant and effective forms of struggle, starting with wresting the right to access pen and paper. ![]() Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons have waged numerous successful struggles for their rights, the fruits of which are still enjoyed in the present day. ![]()
